In one line

Ecomeal is restaurant software that turns your sales data into actions, like a daily deal for a dish that isn't moving, so you spend less time reading reports and more time running your restaurant. Ecomeal Lite costs ₹333 a month + GST billed yearly, or ₹500 a month + GST.

Why we built Ecomeal

Before we wrote a line of code, we spoke with more than 40 restaurant operators. Different cities, different formats, very similar sentences:

"I have reports. I don't have time." "I know something's wrong with the numbers. I don't know what." "By the time I notice a dish isn't selling, the stock's gone bad."

Most restaurant software is built to record. It's very good at telling you what happened last Tuesday. But owners don't need more records. They need someone to read the records and say, "do this today."

That's the job we built Ecomeal to do.

What Ecomeal does today

Everything in this section is live in the product.

AI Up Sell

Every afternoon, around 2 pm, Ecomeal reads the last seven days of sales for every dish, finds the slow sellers, writes a discount or combo for each with the reason in plain words, and puts it live on your POS. Staff see an "AI Deal" tag the moment they bill. Every deal closes at 10 pm on its own; you can close one early or regenerate the set any time.

AI Menu Insights

Your dashboard names your best seller, your peak hour and one move to make today.

POS billing and KOTs

Dine-in or pick-up. Veg, egg and non-veg filters, "Best" and "AI Deal" tags, custom items, hold and charge later, suggested combos inside the bill. Every order is tracked from Created to KOT sent, Preparing, Ready, Served and Paid, and you can print KOTs.

One menu, POS and QR

Categories, items, pricing and your customer QR menu in one place. Turn an item off when it runs out and it disappears everywhere.

Customers

Repeat rate, average spend and walk-in spend; loyalty tiers from Standard to Platinum; new, VIP, at-risk and inactive guests in one tap; search, filter and export.

Multi-outlet

Revenue, orders and status for every outlet together, open and close history, top outlet and average per outlet, and a one-tap outlet switcher.

The little things

Employees, reports, search everything with ⌘K, a language switch, light and dark mode, notifications, a setup guide, and support one tap away.

What we tell every new restaurant

"Ecomeal won't cook for you. It won't argue with suppliers. It will notice the cheesecake's had a bad week and do something about it before you've had your evening chai."

Who Ecomeal is for

  • Independent restaurants and cafés that want fast billing and help selling
  • Small chains of two to ten outlets, run by their owners
  • Dine-in and takeaway-led formats

What Ecomeal doesn't do yet

We'd rather you hear this from us.

  • Swiggy and Zomato integration: not live yet. If delivery apps are most of your orders, a system with aggregator integration will serve you better today.
  • Ingredient-level inventory and waste tracking: in development as Wastello.
  • Dish-level demand forecasting for prep and purchasing: on our roadmap.

On the roadmap

These are plans, not features. We'll write about each one when it's live.

Roadmap item What it's for
Wastello Inventory and waste: batch-level costing, expiry tracking, waste logs
Aggregator integration Swiggy and Zomato orders straight into the POS
Forecasting Prep and purchase planning from your own sales patterns

How we think about AI

Three principles guide what we build:

  1. Act, don't just describe. A chart is a starting point. A deal live on the POS is an outcome.
  2. Explain every suggestion. Every AI deal comes with its reason in plain words. If you can't understand why it suggested something, it shouldn't suggest it.
  3. You stay in charge. Deals end on their own. You can close them, regenerate them, or ignore them.
